６ 白壁の家（外・昼）
青い空を背景に、３階建ての大きな白壁の家が建っている。
ロベルトが帰宅する。
大きな白い飼い犬が、尻尾を振ってロベルトに駆け寄る。
ロベルトのモノログ「もうすぐ１５になろうとしてた頃……。ボクは、白壁の家に住んでいた。３階のベランダから、エーゲ海の青い海が見えた。毎日学校から帰ると、飼い犬がボクを迎えた」
７ 白壁の家、居間（昼）
ロベルトが帰宅するが、誰も居ない。
テレビだけがオンのままだ。
テレビでは、ＮＡＳＡのサターン・ロケットのドキュメンタリーを放送中。
ロベルトは、テレビの前のカウチに腰掛ける。
ロベルトのモノログ「ボクは理科に興味を抱いていた。ＮＡＳＡのロケットの映像を見て、いつか宇宙へ行きたいと考えていた」

８ 白壁の家３階ベランダ（外・昼）
ロベルトが、ベランダに出てくる。
ロベルトの目前には、ブルーの海原が広がっている。
しばらく海原を眺めるロベルト。
ロベルトのモノログ「ボクは養子だった。養父母は、日系で身寄りがなかったボクを引き取り、ヨーロッパ風の名前を与えた。養父母は、５月から８月まで、白壁の家のゲストルームに、観光客を宿泊させていた。それでボクは少年時代に、色々な国の人に出会った」
９ エーゲ海に面する浜辺（昼）
浜辺で遊ぶ人々。
ロベルトのモノログ「エーゲ海には、多くの外国人たちが訪れた」
１０ 白壁の家ベランダ（外・昼）
寝椅子に座り、双眼鏡で遠くを見ているロベルト。
ロベルトのモノログ「ボクが住んでいた白壁の家はビーチに近かったから、午後はベランダの寝椅子で、外国の女性たちが色とりどりの水着で、ビーチを散歩するのを双眼鏡で眺めた」

Dad and Mom adopted me as their child.
I am a Japanese origin, but they gave me a European-like name.
My parents-in-law was running a bed-and-breakfast for tourists during summer season in their white-painted house. So, in my boyhood, I met many people from all over the world.

As the white-painted house that I was living in was close to the shore, so, from the terrace of the house, thru my field glasses, I could see women in beautifully-designed swimsuits walking on the beach. That was a nice time after school.
